Creative Summary
l am interested in the new visual tension that arises when unrelated objects are accidentally combined. The work abandons the functionality of daily necessities like water pipes to explore their colors, shapes, and properties as the "personalities" of the objects themselves. By examining these objects from both two-dimensional and three-dimensional perspectives, the creator studies the tension in their forms as they interact. Further, under the theme "Shape of Tension," the creator has created a series of forms that stabilize in space through a balanced state after external pressure and internal tension counteract each other. Through dynamic and tense moments like straps being stretched, disposable chopsticks being separated, and sponges being squeezed, the work reflects the relationship between people and objects in daily life.It aims to discover the overlooked states of objects, shapes that cannot be logically analyzed, and the latent tension within them.
