Creative Summary
"A Trip" is an atlas featuring information on 200 poisonous mushrooms. I created this guide after an accidental ingestion of toxic mushrooms during my travels in Yunnan, China, a province where thousands of foragers explore in search of mushrooms. Designed for beginners, the book offers a quick reference to identify potentially poisonous mushrooms and outlines symptoms of ingestion. Organized by mushroom color, it includes details on fruiting periods, geographical distribution, shape, texture, growing environment, and associated toxins.
